ILARA-MOKIN, ONDO STATE— A sombre environment has covered the Ilara-Mokin community in Ifedore Local Government Area following the unexpected death of a middle-aged lady, recognized as Oluwasola Adebayo.
The departed apparently slumped and passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, while awaiting her kid, who was sitting for the continuous Unified Tertiary Enlisting Assessment (UTME).
The event, which occurred near the assessment junction, left citizens and passersby in deep grief as efforts to restore the female showed abortive.
Eyewitnesses at the scene told that Mrs Adebayo had actually accompanied her kid to the CBT centre to provide adult support throughout the high-stakes national test.
Quickly after reaching the junction causing the facility, she reportedly complained of sudden physical weak point.
Before medical support might be sought, she collapsed. Those present attempted to supply emergency treatment, however she was tragically confirmed dead on the area.

According to the PPRO, the remains of the deceased were released to her son, Apapa Olamilekan, an officer of the Nigeria Legion in Akure, following correct recognition and confirmation by the family.

The JAMB authorities have not yet mentioned the incident, though local planners expressed their condolences to the family during the handover of the trainee following the conclusion of the examination session.
