The Lagos State Mentor Service Commission (TESCOM) has presented appointment letters to 992 freshly recruited instructors as part of the state government’s efforts to strengthen public secondary education and address staffing shortages throughout schools.
The recently hired education officers were picked after a strenuous recruitment process aimed at fulfilling the demands of the state’s growing trainee population, bridging spaces in core science and technical subjects, and improving the quality of mentor in public secondary schools.
Presenting the consultation letters, TESCOM Chairman, Mrs. Victoria Mopelola Peregrino, praised the effective candidates and advised them to support the ethics and values of the teaching occupation while working as deserving ambassadors of the Lagos State Government.
She explained that the recruitment workout is a continuous effort created to ensure that public secondary schools are sufficiently staffed with qualified instructors and trainers, particularly as Lagos continues to experience fast population development.

The recently hired instructors will be released to public secondary schools across Lagos State’s 6 education districts after completing the required paperwork.
