7 trainees of State High School, Ibereko, Badagry, have actually been arraigned before a qualified court for apparently vandalising and stealing government residential or commercial property within their school properties.
The trainees were arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Badagry Divisional Headquarters of the Lagos State Command, over accusations that they vandalised electrical cables and aluminium products coming from the school before selling the items to a scrap dealer.
Throughout the court procedures, 5 of the accuseds, whose identities were kept since they are minors, were given bail on the condition that their biological parents stand as sureties and offer legitimate ways of recognition together with recent passport photographs.
