
An insurance coverage awareness project organised by Favourite Educator Edu Foundation in partnership with Wisdom International School of Excellence (WISE), with learning and teaching chances from Heirs Insurance Group, has actually educated trainees, parents and residents of Tudun-Wada Neighborhood in Lugbe, Abuja, on the importance of insurance coverage and monetary preparedness.
The campaign, which started with an interactive session at the school’s assembly ground before extending into the surrounding neighborhood, intended to promote financial literacy and encourage participants to welcome insurance coverage as a method of protecting themselves against unanticipated scenarios.

The sensitisation covered the fundamentals of insurance coverage, including its importance, benefits, different classifications and the need for individuals to safeguard their health, lives, home and future. Participants were presented to different insurance items, consisting of health, life, motor, residential or commercial property, education, fire, agricultural and travel insurance.
As part of the outreach, trainees and teachers started an awareness walk through the streets of Tudun-Wada, distributing instructional materials and engaging residents on the benefits of insurance coverage. The workout drew in parents, traders and other members of the community, much of whom sought information on insurance plan and their significance to daily life.
Some trainees explained the campaign as informing, noting that it altered their understanding of insurance and helped them understand it is available to everybody, no matter social or economic status. Parents applauded the organisers for the effort, describing it as prompt and impactful. One parent stated the programme offered useful understanding that would assist households make much better financial decisions.
Neighborhood members also praised the outreach. A trader in Tudun-Wada said the project enhanced her understanding of medical insurance and its role in minimizing the monetary burden of medical emergencies.
The organisers said the effort was designed to empower students, inform moms and dads and raise public awareness of insurance as a crucial tool for financial security, adding that broadening insurance coverage education throughout Nigeria would assist build more informed and financially resistant communities.
