The Joint Admissions and Admission Board(JAMB)welcomes applications from appropriately qualified prospects for admission into Nigeria Tertiary Institutions through the Unified Tertiary Enlisting Evaluation (UTME) for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.
1.0 Registration Duration.
1.1The period of sale of e-PINS for UTME candidates including those from Foreign Nations is from Monday, 15 January to Monday, 26 February, 2024. Keep in mind that there will be no extension of time for the sale of the UTME application files.
2.0 General Entry Requirements:
2.1 The basic entry requirements for admission into the First Degree, National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID) and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes in Universities, other degree-awarding Institutions, Monotechnics, Polytechnics, Innovation Business Institutions and Colleges of Education are five (5) O’Level Credit passes consisting of Mathematics and English Language. Details are available in the JAMB eBrochure which would be given to each Candidate at the certified CBT centres and JAMB State Offices.

3.0 Order of Option of Organizations.
3.1 Every candidate is to keep in mind that the first choice can be a College of Education, University, Innovation Enterprise Organization, Polytechnic/ Monotechnic, Nigerian Defence Academy, or the Authorities Academy.
4.0 Date and Location for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Assessment.

4.2 The location of the assessment will be at any centre in the prospect’s selected examination town(s)
JAMB DOES NOT POST ANY CANDIDATE TO ANY EVALUATION TOWN (OR GROUP OF TOWNS) BESIDES THE ONE CHOSEN BY THE CANDIDATE AT THE POINT OF REGISTRATION. PROSPECTS ARE, HOWEVER, ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER ON TIME BEFORE THE AVAILABLE SPACES IN THEIR TOWN OF OPTION OR GROUP OF TOWNS ARE EXHAUSTED AND THEREFORE NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
5.0 Optional UTME-Mock-Examination.
5.1 As was done in 2015, the Board will also carry out a mock evaluation in all the recognized CBT centres to prepare and acquaint admission hunters with the CBT environment. Interested prospects are recommended to indicate their interest in the mock assessment throughout registration.

6.0 Registration Costs, Procedures & Files.
A. PROFILE REGISTRATION
i. One Cell (mobile) number can be used by one candidate only. The Telephone number used for the text message is instantly tied to the Prospect’s name and will be used in all communications associated with his/her 2024 Application/ Evaluation
ii. Prospects are to send the word “NIN” permit one space in between, then place the eleven digits NIN numbers to 55019 e.g. NIN 00000000000.
iii. A Profile Code of 10 characters is received by the prospect on the same phone number
B. SELF-HELP IN CASE OF MISTAKE/ LOSS OF PROFILE CODE
i. To remedy a mistake in the candidate’s name, send out the [CORRECT Surname First-Name Middle-Name] to 55019 as a text message from the exact same mobile number
ii. To recover a lost Profile Code, send [RESEND] to 55019 as a text message from the very same mobile number
