Young African business owners with ingenious agribusiness ideas are welcomed to obtain the 2026 GoGettaz Agripreneur Reward Competition. The competitors supports youth-led services that are creating options in Africa’s food and farming sector.

The program is open to business owners in between the ages of 18 and 35 from African Union member states. Candidates need to be founders or co-founders of an agrifood business operating in Africa.

Winners of the competitors will get financing, mentorship, service direct exposure, and a chance to pitch their concepts at the Africa Food Systems Online Forum in Kigali, Rwanda.

Competitors Benefits

Chosen individuals will complete for:

  • $50,000 grand prize for one male-led business
  • $50,000 grand prize for one female-led business

Eligibility Requirements

To apply, candidates must:

  • Be in between 18 and 35 years old
  • Be people of an African Union member nation
  • Own or co-own an agrifood organization in Africa
  • Play an active leadership role in business
  • Have actually a signed up service or complete registration before June 28, 2026

Application Process

Applicants will complete an online application describing their company idea, customers, earnings model, competitors, and entrepreneurial experience.

Shortlisted candidates will later on submit a three-minute pitch video before advancing to the next phases of the competitors.
