According to WAEC, candidates are anticipated to produce an Individual Recognition Number (PIN) via its official site before accessing their outcomes on the council’s result-checking website.
The council revealed that of the 1,950,726 candidates who sat for the evaluation, 1,200,514 prospects, representing 61.54 percent, obtained credits in at least five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

Candidates can access the detailed efficiency statistics released by the assessment body.
To check their results, prospects are required to create a PIN and serial number on the WAEC website before proceeding to the outcome website. The process involves supplying their evaluation number, National Recognition Number used during registration and other required information for one-time password verification.
Nearly 1.96 million prospects from more than 24,200 secondary schools participated in the assessment, which was conducted between April 21 and June 19, 2026.
Although the majority of candidates wrote the evaluation using the standard pen-and-paper format, WAEC recorded a notable boost in the variety of schools that embraced the computer-based testing alternative compared with previous years.
