AKWA, NIGERIA– The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State, has bought an immediate examination into accusations of sexual misconduct involving an unknown speaker in the Department of Chinese Researches, Professors of Arts.
The alleged incident pertained to public attention on Saturday, August 15, 2026, after videos appeared online revealing some students physically attacking and rough-handling the speaker within the university premises.
The speaker was supposedly confronted after being implicated of attempting to sexually molest a female trainee.
