The University of Uyo, UNIUYO, has actually announced the resumption of studies for all undergraduate trainees
in Years 1 to 5 and postgraduate trainees. The second semester for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 scholastic sessions will commence on Monday, 20 April 2026. The notification is clear; students across the noted levels are to remember of the Date and follow the schedule launched by the University.
to 22 May 2026: Registration with charge Lecture period, union week and modification The lecture period for all undergraduate students in Years 1 to 5 and postgraduate trainees will run from 20 April 2026 to 10
July 2026. After lectures, the schedule moves as follows:
- 13 July 2026 to 17 July 2026: Trainees’ Union week
- 20 July 2026 to 24 July 2026: Modification exercise for several years 1 to 5 trainees
The sequence is laid out in plain terms; lecture period initially, union week next, then revision.
UNIUYO evaluation and long holiday dates
The second semester evaluations for many years 1 to 5 trainees will happen from 27 July 2026 to 21 August 2026.
After the assessments, the long vacation for all Years 1 to 5 trainees will range from 24 August 2026 to 2 October 2026.
Date for the next very first semester
UNIUYO repaired 5 October 2026 as the commencement date for the very first term of the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 sessions.
That closing line in the calendar provides trainees another fixed point to keep in mind; the next session starts on that date.
