The Vice-Chancellor of University of Abuja, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, has outlined an enthusiastic roadmap for transforming the organization into an internationally competitive university, requiring unity and partnership among staff.

Fawehinmi made this known while commanding his maiden Parish conference, where he provided his administration’s vision and tactical instructions. He emphasised that his management would be driven by core values such as excellence, accountability, innovation, inclusiveness, and personnel well-being.

The Vice-Chancellor also highlighted essential strides tape-recorded in teaching, research, and facilities advancement, noting that his administration has made substantial development within its very first 100 days in workplace.

According to him, efforts so far have stabilised the university system, strengthened collaborations, improved service delivery, and repositioned the organization for global significance.

Revealing gratitude to the University Council, led by Olanrewaju Tejuoso, along with the Senate and the wider university neighborhood, Fawehinmi prompted all stakeholders to remain dedicated to the collective objective.

“Our administration will be anchored on quality, responsibility, development, inclusiveness, and staff welfare. Together, we must work in unity to understand our vision of making the University a world-class institution,” he stated.
