University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital is welcoming applications from suitably certified prospects for admission into its postgraduate programme of Master in Nursing Science with specialities for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The program covers four areas of expertise; candidates who satisfy the mentioned entry conditions can continue with the application procedure through the Healthcare facility’s portal.

General Admission Requirements
Candidates seeking admission into the postgraduate programme need to have at least 5 credit passes in the required subjects.
O’ Level Requirements
Prospects must have five credit passes in:
The outcomes should be gotten at not more than 2 sittings from WAEC or NECO, and at one sitting only from NABTEB.
Degree and Other Requirements
Applicants for the master’s degree program must likewise meet these conditions:
Period of the Programme
The Master’s Degree Programme runs for a minimum of 3 terms and an optimum of six terms.
How to Use
Applicants are to finish the type through the UITH application site and make payment of N20,000 through the Remita platform just into the UITH General Purpose Account.
Cash payment or transfer to specific accounts is not allowed.
Remita Payment Steps
Applicants are to:
- Visit the Remita payment platform
- Click “Pay FGN and State TSA”
- Select “FGN Federal Government of Nigeria”
- Type “University of Ilorin Teaching Medical Facility” under who to pay
- Select “UITH GENERAL PURPOSE” under Name of Service/Purpose
- Complete the other required details and make payment
After payment, the applicant can continue the application procedure. All payment invoices need to be submitted to the Bursary System for payment verification.
Application Process After Payment
After payment through Remita, the applicant is to continue registration by filling the online SPBN type with the Remita Retrieval Recommendation number produced after payment.
The applicant is then to click UITH postgraduate nursing application website. The website will ask for a legitimate individual Email address.
A confirmation link will be sent to the E-mail address provided during registration. The applicant is to open the Email account in a brand-new tab in the exact same internet browser and click the link sent by noreply@uithilorin.
The PBN application form will then open for conclusion and submission. The candidate is to select the preferred school from the drop-down menu.
Uploads and Type Notes
All data and scanned uploads, such as certificates, referees and Remita invoice, need to be provided properly as required for the form to be processed.
On the sponsor information form, the applicant is expected to submit the scanned signature of the sponsor in jpeg, png or jpg format.
Each candidate is also needed to upload three typed and scanned referees, with the referees’ letterheaded paper, in jpeg, png or jpg format.
After submission, the applicant will be directed to print or download the finished form after a short wait.
If the hard copy does not appear, the kind was not successfully submitted and the candidate has to fill it once again.
The online hard copy should be brought on the day of the assessment or interview.
