The web plays a main function in many people’s daily lives– whether when looking for a new job or an apartment or condo, for shopping or for remaining in touch with good friends. As far as social participation is worried, knowing how to use the web and what hazards or advantages digital media present are becoming progressively essential. That is why the European “All Digital Week” campaign has set itself the task of reaching out to specifically those individuals affected by digital exemption and bringing them on board. “Get Online Week” belongs to those European project and has been arranged by TU Dortmund University as an annual teaching-learning project at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences considering that 2015. Workshops aim to reinforce the digital skills of kids and grownups

The courses on prevention in the digital world happened in schools, leisure and domestic facilities, and protected workshops. They covered four topics: In the course on cyberbullying, trainees taught schoolchildren how to recognize and handle cyberbullying. In a 2nd course, which focused on sexual violence on the web, professionals operating in education discovered how to develop trust and assistance kids and youths more effectively in this delicate area.
