The Department of Natural Resources Management at Texas Tech University is recruiting an M.S. student with interests in habitat usage by wild ungulates, predominately pronghorn antelope and mule deer, wildfire effect on environment, and/or wildlife-livestock interactions.
The trainee will be accountable for keeping track of wildlife using cellular electronic camera traps, examining interactions in between virtually fenced livestock and wildlife, and assessing how fire severity effects plant neighborhoods using ground-based and remote sensing methods.
