Rep. Unyime Idem scholarship 2026/2027 for 200 trainees

Rep. Unyime Idem has announced a scholarship program for 200 undergrad, Masters and Ph.D. students from Ukanafun/Oruk

Anam Federal Constituency who study in Nigerian federal universities. The lawmaker, who represents Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency and works as Chairman of your home of Representatives Committee on Public Procurement, made the statement through the Unyime Idem Education Scholarship Programme. The plan forms part of his dedication to the instructional development of his constituents.

The program is open to undergrads, Masters students, and Ph.D. candidates in Nigerian federal universities. Only full-time trainees can use; part-time trainees are not qualified.

• Sciences
• Engineering
• Economics
• Accounting
• Law
• Computer system Science/Engineering

What the scholarship covers

The scholarship status is complete. It covers tuition, living expenses, and accommodation; that Full plan is plainly specified in the notice.

Requirements for undergraduate applicants

Undergraduate applicants must remain in 200 Level and above.

They need to submit these files:

• Proof of statement of WAEC/SSCE/NECO results with a minimum of 5 credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than 2 sittings
• Letter of admission into the university
• Legitimate student identity card
• Last school fee receipt
• First year or preceding year scholastic transcript, appropriately signed and stamped by the HOD, Exams Officer, or any authorised personnel
• Certificate of indigeneship, showing state of origin and city government
• NIN card or slip
• Personal declaration of at least 1000 words stating factors for undertaking the course of study

Requirements for Masters candidates

Masters applicants must have full-time admission into a federal university.

They should submit or meet the following:

• Full-time admission letter into any federal university
• Legitimate trainee identity card
• Last school fee receipt
• A minimum of 2nd Class Lower (2.2 )
• Second Class Upper (2:1) has advantage
• A minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/SSCE/NECO results, in not more than 2 sittings, and the two outcomes need to precede the first degree
• NYSC certificate or letter of exemption
• Certificate of indigeneship, revealing state of origin and city government
• NIN card or slip
• Individual declaration of a minimum of 1000 words specifying reasons for carrying out the core curriculum

Requirements for Ph.D. candidates

Ph.D. applicants need to also have full-time admission into a federal university.

They must send or meet the following:

• Full-time admission letter into any federal university
• A minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2 )
• Second Class Upper (2:1) has advantage
• Valid trainee identity card
• Last school cost receipt
• A minimum of benefit in a second-degree certificate
• At least 5 credits in WAEC/SSCE/NECO outcomes, in not more than 2 sittings, and the two results need to precede the very first degree
• NYSC certificate or letter of exemption
• Certificate of indigeneship, revealing state of origin and local government
• NIN card or slip
• Research location must be relevant
• Ph.D. research proposition of not more than 6 pages

Final note for applicants

The notice states that Rep. Idem will not be liable for deferment, modification of university, or change obviously.
