  The Nigerian Army, the largest part of the Nigerian Armed Forces, handles land warfare operations and is governed by the Nigerian Army Council.

  Applications are invited for the 91 Routine Employee Consumption for Trades/ Non-Tradesmen & Women.

  2. citizen by birth. The candidate should have a National Identity Number and a Bank Confirmation Number slip. The name and date of birth on the NIN must
  3. match the BVN and every other credential. The applicant must be clinically, physically and psychologically fit under Nigerian Army requirements. The applicant needs to
  4. have no criminal conviction from any court of qualified jurisdiction. The candidate must have at least 4 passes, including English Language, in not more than two sittings in WASSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or NBAIS.
  5. A tradesperson or tradeswoman should likewise have a Trade Test or City and Guild Certificate.
  6. The candidate should have a legitimate birth certificate from the National Population Commission, a hospital, or a local government council. An age declaration endorsed by a skilled court can also suffice.
  7. A non-tradesman or non-tradeswoman must be at least 18 years of ages and not above 22 years by 30 June 2026.
  8. A tradesman or tradeswoman must not be above 26 years by 30 June 2026.
  9. Male applicants need to be at least 1.68 metres tall.
  10. Female candidates should be at least 1.65 metres high.
  11. Applicants need to use with their State of Origin, not their State of Residence.
  12. The applicant needs to have a legitimate certificate of State of Origin.

  The Army states that:

  • Screening will happen in each candidate’s State of Origin.
  • Candidates must not bring electronic or recording devices to the State recruitment place.
  • Tattoo, piercing or engraving on any part of the body, apart from tribal marks, are not allowed.
  • Several ear piercings for female candidates are not permitted.
  • Candidates need to provide initial copies of all credentials, including primary and secondary school certificates.
  • Prospects should not come from any cult, secret society or fraternity.
  • A prospect will be withdrawn from training if found to have forged or falsified documents.
  • Prospects are encouraged not to provide any satisfaction or incentive to any person or group in connection with the workout.
  • Prospects need to include their NIN and BVN slips.
  • The application is complimentary.
