The President of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Partners Association a(NAOWA), Dr. Safiyya Hassan Shaibu, has actually inaugurated newly completed academic and welfare tasks at Bola Ahmed Tinubu Barracks and Mogadishu Cantonment in Abuja, reaffirming the association’s dedication to improving the welfare of Nigerian Army households.

The projects, inaugurated on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, include a crèche, nursery school, market stalls, perimeter fence, kids’s play ground and remodelled washroom centers.

Speaking during the inauguration, Dr. Shaibu explained the tasks as tactical financial investments focused on enhancing the welfare, education and well-being of military households. She said the initiatives reflect NAOWA’s vision of constructing a united and innovative organisation that empowers military households through self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.

According to her, the freshly built crèche and nursery school will offer a safe and favorable environment for the care and early education of children, keeping in mind that quality education starts with a strong foundation in the formative years.

She added that the market stalls would promote entrepreneurship within the barracks neighborhood, while the remodelled restrooms, boundary fence and playground would improve sanitation, security and leisure chances for personnel and pupils of Army Day Secondary School.

Dr. Shaibu commended the Planner of the NAOWA Army Headquarters Garrison Chapter, Mrs. Dorathy Maxwell Dangana, and members of the chapter for effectively executing the projects.
