
The Lagos State Ministry of Standard and Secondary Education (MBSE), in cooperation with Global Education Media Limited, has arranged a strategic interaction conference for Public Affairs Officers (PAOs) throughout the education sector to reinforce public engagement and enhance the visibility of government instructional reforms.
The one-day conference, hung on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at NECA House, Central Business District, Ikeja, was themed, “Strategic Interaction: Advancing the Lagos Education Agenda through Effective Public Affairs Engagement.”
The conference united crucial stakeholders, communication experts, and Public Affairs Officers from different education agencies to check out innovative techniques to promoting federal government policies, programmes, and achievements in the education sector.
Delivering the keynote address, Mrs. Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Standard and Secondary Education, underscored the important function of Public Affairs Officers in shaping public understanding, promoting transparency, and guaranteeing the successful implementation of the state’s education agenda.
