Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS), applicants must:
- Be international graduates interested in studying in Malaysia
- Apply for full-time Master’s or PhD studies
- Be under 40 years old for Master’s programs and under 45 years old for PhD programs
- Have strong academic performance:
- Master’s applicants: Minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent at bachelor’s level
- PhD applicants: Excellent results at the Master’s level
- Demonstrate English proficiency through:
- IELTS (minimum 6.0) or
- TOEFL PBT (minimum 550)
Or proof that previous studies were conducted in English
