In addition to the closure, the following Degree Mills are presently going through more examinations and/or ongoing court actions. The purpose of these actions is to prosecute the owners and recover prohibited costs and charges on subscribers.

- Illegal Satellite Campuses of Ambrose Alli University.
- L.I.F.E Management University, Benin City, Edo State.
For the avoidance of doubt, anybody who patronises or obtains any certificate from any of these unlawful organizations does so at his or her own threat. Certificates gotten from these sources will not be recognised for the purposes of NYSC, employment and more studies.
The appropriate Law enforcement agencies are also been informed of their further needed action.
