
The Kwara State Federal government has actually trained no less than 50 teachers in digital entrepreneurship, STEAM, and expert system to strengthen curriculum shipment and equip trainees with globally pertinent abilities.
The four-day programme, held in partnership with Digital Innovation Schools Nigeria and Tech2Grassroots Africa, united public and independent school teachers from across the state.
Speaking at the training held at the Ministry of Education and Person Capital Development’s Resource Centre in Ilorin, the Commissioner for Education, Lawal Olohungbebe, stated the effort would gear up teachers with the essential skills to efficiently provide entrepreneurship education and adjust to developing global learning needs through technology.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Olanrewaju Rebecca Bake, the Commissioner kept in mind that the programme would improve instructors’ capability and improve discovering outcomes across schools in the state.
“This initiative will empower our instructors with the requisite abilities to provide the entrepreneurship curriculum efficiently and browse the developing needs of global education through technology integration,” he said.
Also speaking, the Ceo of KwaraTech Academy, Ayobami Oludele, commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for sustained reforms in the education sector.
“We commend the Governor for his continued investment in education. Participants must increase this opportunity to get abilities that will drive social advancement and impact,” he said.
Participants were trained on the practical use of digital tools, entrepreneurship principles, and STEAM approaches to improve development in mentor and enhance trainees’ access to modern, technology-driven learning resources.
