Between Emil-Figge-Straße 50 and the “Straße der Ingenieure” (Street of the Engineers), the institutions, departments, and student councils offered a wide variety of activities. For instance, visitors of all ages might check their skills in an archaeology battle, attempt different sports such as archery or bouldering, or wear a VR headset to fly through a virtual logistics course as a drone.

The Summer Celebration also provided cooking thrills: at their cubicles, students offered global dishes from their home nations and churned ice cream using liquid nitrogen. Offering the soundtrack were DJs, ensembles, and live bands– including professors, trainees, and personnel performing live on stage. Bollywood rhythms and rousing rock ‘n’ roll delighted the crowd during efficiencies by the university sports’ Bollywood and Rock ‘n’ Rookies dance performers. The cheerleading team delighted viewers with their acrobatic stunts.

The standard festival was supported by the Association of Friends of TU Dortmund University (GdF), Sparkasse Dortmund, and the Studierendenwerk Dortmund (Association for Trainee Affairs).
