BAUCHI, BAUCHI STATE– Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has made a clarion call to the latest graduates of Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZAU), advising them to shift from “job candidates” to “creators of chances.”
Speaking on Saturday, March 28, 2026, during the organization’s combined 8th, 9th, and 10th convocation ceremony, the Guv stressed that in an extremely competitive international economy, academic certificates serve only as platforms for development, not ensured tickets to success.
The ceremony saw the graduation of 11,813 students across numerous disciplines, marking a considerable milestone for the state-owned organization.
A Vision for Task Production
Guv Mohammed entrusted the graduands to look beyond the standard pursuit of civil service or corporate work.
He kept in mind that the real value of their education lies in their ability to identify societal obstacles and engineer sustainable options.
“Do not limit yourselves to seeking work. Become creators of opportunities, innovators, and option service providers,” the Guv stated.
He advised the audience that while the university has provided the fundamental knowledge, the world exterior is “unforgiving” and requires a blend of hard work, persistence, and steadfast integrity.
