The Federal Government has actually announced plans to present capital grant efforts for students with innovative ideas and entrepreneurial abilities as part of efforts to reinforce youth empowerment and economic advancement in Nigeria.

Speaking during the 70th anniversary celebration of Kaduna Polytechnic, the Minister of State for Education, Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad, stated the initiative would match the continuous trainee loan scheme introduced by the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to the minister, the proposed capital grants are designed to support trainees with practical organization concepts and developments, assisting them transform their concepts into sustainable endeavors.

“In addition to the trainee loan scheme, the Federal Government prepares to present capital grants for students with innovative ideas and entrepreneurial skills,” Dr. Suwaiba stated.

She explained that the program aligns with the Tinubu administration’s commitment to empowering young Nigerians through education, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

“The grants will provide financial support to trainees with practical concepts, allowing them to establish their innovations and contribute meaningfully to national development,” she added.

Dr. Suwaiba likewise praised Kaduna Polytechnic for its contributions to technical and trade education over the previous 70 years, describing the organization as a crucial chauffeur of Nigeria’s human capital development.
