
The Enugu State Government has actually started the recruitment of 6,580 personnel for academic, technical and administrative positions in public primary and junior secondary schools, with most of the appointments targeted at its 267 Smart Green Schools effort.

The board added that prospects looking for teaching roles must offer proof of registration, or ongoing registration, with the Educators Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

Certifications for non-teaching positions differ depending on the role, with requirements varying from degrees in specialised disciplines such as Library and Info Science, Psychology and other STEM-related fields to Ordinary National Diploma, Trade Test Certificates or SSCE/WASSCE for positions including Laboratory Attendants, Technicians and ICT personnel.

It also stressed that efficiency in the use of Information and Communication Innovation tools is a mandatory requirement for candidates across all classifications.
