The Ashanti Regional Cops Command has actually arrested a teacher of Nyinahin Catholic Senior High School following the circulation of a viral video revealing the assault of a female trainee.
The suspect, identified as Eric Buernortey Apaflo, 39, was nabbed by a Nyinahini District Police Patrol Group at about 7:00 p.m. on June 8, 2026, after reports emerged that he had attacked an 18-year-old student, Patience Chibu.
According to a cops declaration, initial investigations revealed that the suspect, who functions as a caretaker of the school’s hostel, challenged the trainee and a number of male trainees over alleged misconduct at the hostel.
