The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, has actually commended the Kano State Government for prioritising education following the presentation of appointment letters to 4,900 newly hired instructors and 3,688 Better Education Service Shipment for All (BESDA) Cohort V Facilitators.
Alausa gave the commendation throughout a main ceremony in Kano attended by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
According to the minister, the recruitment exercise brings the total variety of teachers utilized by the state in a single workout to nearly 9,000 and over 16,000 within the last three years.

“Teaching is the profession that shapes every other profession, and to whom much is provided, much is anticipated,” he said.As part of his last day activities in Kano, the minister inspected the Tarda Smart School in Ungogo, went to Bayero University, Kano, and commissioned the new Government Girls Secondary School in Dangwaro.
Kano’s Educators Receiving their Letters He said the investments in clever learning environments, instructor quality and broadened access to education line up with efforts to gear up young Nigerians with the knowledge and skills needed to prosper in the 21st century.
Alausa added that the Federal government would continue to operate in partnership with state governments under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to implement the Nigeria Education Sector Renewal Effort (NESRI).
According to him, the effort is concentrated on strengthening instructor quality, expanding access to education, modernising discovering facilities and establishing the human capital required to place Nigeria as a knowledge-based economy.
