Because of financial constraints, she temporarily paused her ICAN classes and took up a part-time job as a social media marketer, gaining practical experience in entrepreneurship and brand development.

These experiences later helped her build her own jewelry brand known as TRG – The Ring Gallery. By 2021, she returned to her ICAN studies and continued with determination.

She successfully cleared the Skills and Final levels on her first attempt, completing them in November 2021 and May 2022.

By her second year at the University of Lagos, Tobiloba had already achieved a major milestone,  becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA).

Alongside her studies, she also completed the Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) course and gained experience through audit and tax internships.

Despite her strong academic profile, Tobiloba faced several rejections when applying for opportunities. In 2023, she applied to multiple programs but received no offers, including from the Investment Society University of Lagos.

Instead of giving up, she decided to reinvent herself in 2024, focusing on growth, leadership, and professional development.

During that period, she secured a position in The Investment Society, University of Lagos after reapplying, co-led the Sponsorship team for ACCESS 4.0, and landed an Investment Research internship with A. Stotz.

Also, Tobiloba represented UNILAG at the CFA Society Nigeria Universities Ethics Challenge, where her team won the national title, won a data analysis scholarship at Bradford Academy, and volunteered in programs empowering women in underserved communities in Ijebu Ode.

While pursuing her academic and professional goals, Tobiloba also founded TRG – The Ring Gallery, a jewelry brand she began building during her university years.

As a student, she juggled entrepreneurship, internships, leadership roles, and academics with discipline and effective time management, and she earned her degree with excellence.

By July 2025, Tobiloba completed her studies with an exceptional 4.91 CGPA, graduating as the Best Student in Advanced Accounting.

Reflecting on her journey, she noted that the 15-year-old who missed admission by just four days would hardly believe the story of her success today.
