
Two Corps members serving in Lagos State have been acknowledged for impressive efficiency in the Digital Literacy 4All (DL4ALL) National Competition, arranged by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).
At an event held at the NYSC Lagos State Secretariat, the State Planner, Christiana Salmwang, presented cheques to the winners on behalf of NITDA in recognition of their efforts in promoting digital literacy within their host communities.
The awardees, Nomamiukor Becky (LA/25A/12745) and Adeyemi Folake Lydia (LA/25A/12746), got the Classification B and Classification C Regional Awards, respectively, for their ingenious contributions to digital skills development.
“We congratulate these Corps members for their devotion and commitment. Their achievements not just highlight private excellence however also contribute to advancing digital literacy and addition in their communities,” Mrs. Salmwang said.
Likewise in participation were officials from the NYSC Lagos State Directorate, including Ehimwenma Itohan, Assistant Director, SAED; Odiekhandu Chioma, Head of CDS; Uguru Ezinne, Personal Assistant to the State Organizer; and Fatoki Bukola, DL4ALL Schedule Officer.
Mrs. Salmwang further encouraged the awardees to sustain their spirit of quality and continue making impactful contributions to national development through digital skills advocacy.
“We hope their success will motivate other young Nigerians to welcome digital literacy as a tool for neighborhood advancement and innovation,” she added.
