The Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (CR-SUBEB) has gotten 20 mini buses under the 2025 Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC)/ CR-SUBEB Quality Control Intervention to enhance school guidance and improve the quality of standard education throughout the state.

The vehicles are anticipated to enhance the movement of Quality Assurance teams, making it possible for more effective monitoring and inspection of public primary and junior secondary schools across the 18 City Government Areas of Cross River State.

According to the Board, the intervention will enhance school assessments, enhance compliance with UBEC quality standards and support much better mentor and discovering results in public schools.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Chairman of CR-SUBEB, Mrs. Fidelia Okpo Ene, explained the intervention as a significant turning point in efforts to enhance education shipment in the state.

She revealed gratitude to the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) and the Guv of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, for their continued commitment to reinforcing basic education through tactical investments and sustained support.

Mrs. Ene declared the Board’s dedication to developing a responsive, responsible and high-performing standard education system that ensures every kid access to quality learning opportunities.

She kept in mind that the implementation of the cars would even more enhance the Board’s capability to successfully monitor schools and ensure the shipment of quality education across the state.
