LAGOS, Nigeria– A yet-to-be-identified graduate of Lagos State University (LASU) is currently seriously hurt and fighting for his life in a Lagos health center after being struck by a stray bullet during a violent Point of Sale (PoS) robbery effort in the Igando area of Lagos State.
The terrible incident happened on Sunday along Kayode Onafuye Street in the Alhaji Ede neighborhood, when a four-man armed gang on 2 bikes got into the house in pursuit of a regional PoS operator.
Failed Break-in Causes Indiscriminate Shooting
According to eyewitness accounts gathered from the scene, the four armed enemies had initially tracked the female PoS operator to her shop.
Upon discovering the properties vacant, the gang proceeded directly to a close-by cottage where she lived.
A regional homeowner, who identified himself simply as Bode, explained that the shooters attempted to require their method into the property structure while calling out for the operator.

“The burglars came on two motorcycles and had to do with four in number. Neighborhood members revealed that the boy had recently completed his degree at LASU and was actively getting ready for his upcoming deployment under the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) plan.
Police Response and Ongoing Confirmation
A police source confirmed that functional teams were dispatched to the scene following emergency situation distress reports, resulting in the recovery of a number of invested bullet casings in front of the impacted residential property.
