
Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) has actually granted scholarships and bursaries to 5,312 trainees in universities, polytechnics and colleges of education as part of his commitment to promoting education and human capital advancement.
The scholarship and bursary presentation took place on Saturday, with beneficiaries drawn from numerous tertiary organizations. The effort is targeted at relieving the financial concern on students and encouraging scholastic excellence.
Speaking at the event, Senator Yayi stated the intervention fulfilled another promise he made in the area of educational and human resource development for youths. Under the plan, university undergrads received scholarships of 200,000 each, while trainees of polytechnics and colleges of education were granted 150,000 each. In addition, recipients of the bursary program received 100,000 each to support their educational costs.
