Police Investigation Underway
The Gombe State Cops Command confirmed the incident, specifying that an official report was gone to Wednesday at approximately 9:30 a.m.
Speaking on the event, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Buhari Abdullahi, divulged that officers evacuated the victim to the General Hospital, Kashere, where medical workers officially licensed him dead.
DSP Abdullahi noted that while no noticeable indications of physical violence were observed on the body during preliminary evaluation, cops detectives have released a complete examination to identify the exact circumstances surrounding Maisamari’s death.
University management and student bodies have expressed shock over the tragic loss.
