The Federal government has applauded the First Girl, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for contributing 140,000 copies of 7 books to public school libraries throughout Nigeria.

The Minister of Education, Maruf Tunji Alausa, described the donation as a substantial financial investment in literacy, values-based education, and the overall development of Nigerian kids.

According to the minister, the books were produced through a partnership in between the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) and the Merck Structure and will be dispersed to public schools across the country.

He stated the publications resolve critical issues, consisting of girl-child education, child security, healthy living, gender-based violence, reproductive health, social responsibility, and character development.

Alausa noted that the initiative would promote literacy, critical thinking, empathy, and accountable citizenship among young learners.
