
Supporting Youth Skill Beyond Basic Network Connection
Detailing the strategy behind the nationwide tour, the Senior Manager of Sector Marketing (Youth, Women, and Teenagers) at MTN Nigeria, Temilolu Salako, highlighted that the telecoms company is committed to empowering young Nigerians beyond standard network connectivity.
“MTN Pulse is an impactful school initiative structurally created to commemorate and support young people,” Salako specified.
“We desire Nigerian trainees to have unrestricted access to opportunities where they can find out, link, display their raw talents, and delight in remarkable experiences while on school.”
The university management highly applauded the multi-million naira youth activation.
Representing the Vice-Chancellor, the Dean of Trainees’ Affairs, Professor Vincent Efebeh, explained the intervention as a valuable contribution to overall student well-being.
He kept in mind that the festival provided hard-working undergrads a rare mental window to relax, interact, and charge outside their strenuous lecture halls.
Backing the administration’s view, the DELSU Students’ Union Government (SUG) President, Pal Kingsley Dumuje, mentioned that the program resonated deeply with the undergraduate community since it effortlessly integrated premium entertainment with tangible, life-changing socioeconomic rewards.
