Daemi’s academic journey began in Nigeria when he enrolled at Covenant University at the age of 14 to study Mechanical Engineering.Entering college at such a young age positioned him in a tough environment, but he remained dedicated to developing a strong academic structure while adjusting quickly to university life.Despite his age, he was active both academically and in leadership functions. Throughout his undergraduate years, he balanced strenuous coursework with several obligations, including Co-Captain of the university basketball team, Vice-Chair of the College of Engineering Week Planning Committee.Also he served as the General Secretary and Co-Trainer of the Literary and Dispute Society( CULDS)and Rapporteur to the United Nations Security Council( CIMUN). Even with these demanding engagements, Daemi kept a strong scholastic performance and finished with Superior Honours in Mechanical Engineering at 19 years old. Reflecting on his undergraduate journey, he described it as one shaped by thankfulness, discipline, and purpose. “As I consider the journey that has actually brought me to this point in my life … the only word that enters your mind is’GRATEFUL,”he said.He also discussed the challenge of stabilizing multiple obligations while pursuing scholastic excellence, keeping in mind that his time in university required discipline, faith, and intentional focus.Despite completing interests and management commitments, he stayed consistent in his goal of graduating with difference.
