Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has expelled 365 Greater National Diploma (HND) trainees after an internal evaluation uncovered abnormalities in the academic documents used to secure their admission.
The institution said the impacted students were discovered to have submitted falsified credentials, including created National Diploma results and manipulated academic transcripts purportedly acquired from numerous tertiary organizations.
The advancement was disclosed in a declaration issued on Monday by the polytechnic’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Yemi Ajibola.

A breakdown of the affected trainees showed that the highest number came from the School of Interaction and Infotech, which represented 156 expulsions. The School of Business and Management Research tape-recorded 117 cases, while 54 students were affected in the School of Science and Technology.
The School of Engineering had actually 36 students removed from its programmes, while two students from the School of Environmental Studies were likewise affected by the choice.
