
Applications are now open for the 2026/27 Berlin University DAAD MIDE Scholarship in Germany, a fully funded postgraduate opportunity for students from developing countries.
The scholarship is offered through HTW Berlin in partnership with DAAD for students interested in pursuing a Master’s degree in International and Development Economics (MIDE).
The 18-month program is taught entirely in English and is designed for graduates with backgrounds in economics, business administration, and related social science disciplines.
Selected applicants will receive full financial support throughout the duration of the program, including tuition coverage, living expenses, travel support, and accommodation assistance.

Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be from a developing country
- Hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 180 ECTS or equivalent
- Have completed economics-related coursework
- Possess at least two years of work experience after graduation
- Meet the English language requirements for admission
