The management of Confluence University of Science and Technology has sanctioned five students for various disciplinary offenses, consisting of alleged same-sex relationships, assault and cyber-related offenses.
The disciplinary procedures were authorized during the organization’s 30th Regular Senate Fulfilling hung on April 29, 2026, following investigations by the university’s Students’ Disciplinary Committee.
In separate notices provided by the Deputy Registrar in charge of Academic Affairs, Mr Eli Usman Gbadafu, the university announced the expulsion of two female undergraduates identified as Ezekiel Precious Omeneke, a 200-level Economics student, and Aku Happiness Chinyere, a 200-level Accounting trainee, over allegations of lesbianism.
Another trainee, Musa Abdulhakeem Onimisi of the Department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering, was likewise expelled after he was discovered culpable in a case involving alleged physical attack and stabbing of a fellow trainee.
The organization further dismissed Rule Kolade A., a 200-level Physiotherapy trainee, over accusations of digitally controling and distributing photos of two female trainees without their approval.

In a different disciplinary choice, Agbakaru Kosikochukwu, a 200-level Radiography trainee, was suspended from the university for one academic session for participation in a fight and physical attack.
The university said the sanctions formed part of continuous efforts to protect discipline, safeguard trainees and keep appropriate standards of conduct within the school neighborhood.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Abdulrahman Salawu applauded members of the disciplinary panel for performing what he referred to as a thorough and transparent examination procedure.
