    BUK School Fees Schedule

    Bayero University, Kano has released the approved undergraduate school costs schedule for the 2025/2026 academic session.

    The notice uses to new and returning students of the university, and it covers approval charge, tuition, basic registration charges, faculty payments and hostel charges.

    Nigerian trainees do not pay tuition.

    Non-Nigerian trainees will pay tuition based upon their faculty, college or school.

    The basic registration charges use to all trainees.

    The charges have actually been consolidated, and the quantity depends on the professors or department.

    This classification covers students from:

    • Faculty of Arts and Islamic Research Studies, except History
    • Professors of Law
    • Faculty of Social Sciences

    Accounting and Financing

    Trainees in Accounting and Financing will pay:

    This category covers students from:

    • Professors of Computing
    • Professors of Communication, except Theatre and Carrying Out Arts
    • Earth and Environmental Sciences, other than Architecture, Geology, Quantity Surveying and URP
    • Faculty of Education
    • Business Administration

    Fees are:

    • Returning trainees: 101,000
    • Fresh students, L100 and L200: 111,800

    Architecture, Geology and Urban and Regional Preparation

    Students in these departments will pay:

    • Returning trainees: 106,000
    • Fresh trainees, L100 and L200: 116,800

    Allied Health Sciences

    Trainees from the Professors of Allied Health Sciences will pay:

    • Returning trainees: 141,000
    • Fresh trainees, L100 and L200: 151,800

    Medical Sciences and Dentistry

    Students from Medical Sciences and Dentistry will pay:

    • Returning students: 161,000
    • Fresh students, L100 and L200: 171,800

    Veterinary Medicine

    Trainees from Veterinary Medication will pay:

    • Returning trainees: 111,000
    • Fresh trainees, L100 and L200: 121,800

    Basic Medical Sciences, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences

    Students from these faculties will pay:

    • Returning trainees: 103,000
    • Fresh students, L100 and L200: 113,800

    Agriculture, History and Amount Surveying

    This classification covers students from:

    • Faculty of Farming
    • Department of History
    • Department of Quantity Surveying

    Charges are:

    • Returning students: 102,000
    • Fresh trainees, L100 and L200: 112,800

    Pharmaceutical Sciences

    Trainees from Pharmaceutical Sciences will pay:

    • Returning students: 104,000
    • Fresh students, L100 and L200: 114,800

    Engineering

    Trainees from the Professors of Engineering will pay:

    • Returning students: 108,000
    • Fresh trainees, L100 and L200: 118,800

    Theatre and Performing Arts

    Trainees from Theatre and Performing Arts will pay:

    • Returning trainees: 131,000
    • Fresh students, L100 and L200: 141,800

    Additional Faculty and Departmental Charges

    Some trainees need to pay additional charges at their faculties, departments or relevant systems.

    The noted charges are:

    • Architecture students: 5,000 for ARCON, payable at the department
    • Geology students: 50,000 for practical and excursion, payable at the department
    • Pharmaceutical Science trainees: 10,000 for induction, lab handbooks and consumables, payable at the faculty
    • Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry trainees: 1,500 for laboratory handbook and report book, payable at the department
    • Life Science L100 students: 3,000 for lab manuals, payable at the professors
    • Microbiology L200 trainees: 1,500 for lab manuals, payable at the department
    • Medical graduates looking for ECFMG certification and report: 60,000 service fee
    • Adult Education students: 1,000 for trade training cost, payable at the department
    • Location and Education/Geography L300 students: 2,000 for school trip, payable at the department
    • Medical Science and Dentistry students: 40,000 to their faculties and 20,000 to the college
    • Allied Health Sciences students: 25,000 to the professors and 15,000 to the college
    • Agriculture students: 2,000 for Agric inputs, payable at the professors
    • Veterinary Medicine trainees: 10,000 for useful handbooks, consumables and animal identification/handling workout
    • Veterinary Medicine students: 20,000 for excursion or expedition charges, payable by all trainees in the professors
    • Law students: 2,000 for Law Clinic/Moot Trails, payable at the faculty
    • Biochemistry and Nutrition and Dietetics students: 5,000 as strange charges, payable at the faculty
    • Anatomy and Human Physiology students: 10,000 as peculiar charges, payable at the faculty
    • Computing students: 2,500 for laboratory handbook, payable at the faculty
    • Computing students: 1,700 for log books, payable at the faculty
    • All SIWES trainees: 500 for logbook, payable to the Directorate of Academic Preparation

    BUK Hostel and Hostel Maintenance Charges

    Hostel and hostel maintenance charges use just to students assigned bed spaces in university halls of house.
