UNIABUJA SDC admission requirements
Candidates must fulfill the entry conditions set by the centre. The requirements cover O’Level outcomes, degree or diploma status, and NYSC evidence.
Candidates require five credit passes in relevant O’Level topics, including English Language and Mathematics, at no greater than two sittings.
For master’s research study, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, with a grade not listed below Second-Class Honours Lower Division. For PGD admission, the centre might accept candidates with a Third-Class Degree or Greater National Diploma at Lower Credit from an identified school.
Candidates also need an NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter.
Physician of Sustainable Development requirement
Candidates looking for the Physician of Sustainable Advancement should hold a Master’s Degree in appropriate fields of Science, Social and Management Science, Liberal Arts, Education, or Environmental Science.
The program runs for 36 months.
Duration of UNIABUJA SDC programmes
The duration depends on the program level and research study mode. Full-time study takes a much shorter period, while part-time research study gives candidates a longer academic window.
Master’s degree program
- Full-time: minimum of four semesters and optimum of 6 semesters
- Part-time: minimum of six terms and optimum of eight semesters
Postgraduate diploma programs
- Full-time: minimum of two semesters and optimum of four semesters
- Part-time: minimum of four semesters and maximum of six terms
