The Department of Biochemical and Chemical Engineering and the Sustainability Office of TU Dortmund University are when again collectively organizing the public, interdisciplinary lecture series “Environment: Change, Values, Science” in the winter season semester 2025/26. The series provides fundamental details on environment defense, offers an introduction of the actors included, the effects and dangers of environment security, and offers insights into climate research study from various disciplines. At the very same time, it intends to motivate individuals to end up being actively participated in environment defense themselves.
The fourteen lectures begin on 17 October 2025 and will take place on Fridays from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., partially as online webinars and partly personally.
The lecture series is aimed at students of all departments along with the public. It can be taken as a module within the studium fundamentale or as an optional module in the Department of Biochemical and Chemical Engineering. Within the studium oecologicum, it counts as a foundational module.
