University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital(UMTH ), through its College of Neighborhood Health, has welcomed certified candidates to apply for admission into the Higher Diploma in Neighborhood Health for the
2026/2027 academic session. The admission covers both the two-year and one-year programmes, and candidates require to fulfill the specified academic and professional requirements before gathering the form. Dates matter here; the kind window, return due date, entryway exam and interview duration have actually all been noted.
Tabulation All applicants for the 1 year and two-year programs should have a Diploma in Neighborhood Health (CHEW) with a valid licence.
Candidates should also hold at least five SSCE credits from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB, obtained at not more than two sittings. The required subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Physics and Chemistry.

Prospects applying for the 1 year program needs to have any of the following credentials:
- B.Sc. in Neighborhood Health
- B.Sc. in Public Health
- B.Sc. in Health Education

Payment is to be made at the UMTH Billing Workplace.
Applicants should visit the UMTH Billing Workplace and pay the right application fee for their selected program.
After payment confirmation, prospects need to obtain the application form from the College of Community Health, UMTH. The finished form needs to be returned to the College on or before the mentioned due date.

The application duration ranges from Monday, 4 May 2026 to Tuesday, 30 June 2026.
All finished types need to be returned on or before Tuesday, 14 July 2026. The entryway assessment and interview will hold from Monday, 20 July 2026 to Friday, 24 July 2026.
