Alausa said the reforms are geared towards preparing Nigerian youths for emerging opportunities in a fast-changing world, keeping in mind that the federal government is intentionally moving far from a theory-heavy system.
“We are repositioning our education system from a theory-based design to one anchored on abilities, development, and innovation,” he said.
He discussed that modern disciplines such as artificial intelligence and information science are now being embedded into scholastic curricula, alongside entrepreneurship efforts aimed at cultivating task production.
“Expert system, data science, and digital technologies are now being integrated into curricula, while entrepreneurship programs like EIBC are gearing up students to create jobs,” Alausa included.
The minister likewise highlighted ongoing investments in digital facilities across organizations, consisting of mini-grid electrical energy, free internet services, and learning management platforms backed by an across the country fibre expansion.
