The notice is for:

  • undergraduate students of UNILAG
  • postgraduate students of UNILAG
  • students in oil and gas-related disciplines

The scholarship is for qualified Nigerians studying in relevant fields within Nigeria.

PTDF scholarship application dates

Students who plan to apply should note these dates clearly:

  • Opening date: Monday, 20 April 2026
  • Closing date: Friday, 29 May 2026

The portal will stay open for six weeks.

Where to apply

Applications must be completed online through the official PTDF scholarship portal.

Applicants are expected to fill in the required details and submit all needed documents before the closing date.

What students should note

Eligible students are expected to apply early and make sure every application requirement is met within the stated period.

For many UNILAG students, this is a clear academic opening; the deadline is fixed, and the portal window is short. Early action gives applicants enough time to complete the process without last-minute pressure.

Why this matters for UNILAG students

The scholarship gives UNILAG students in relevant fields a path to continue their studies and build careers in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.

That makes the 2025/2026 PTDF In-Country Scholarship Scheme one application UNILAG students in eligible courses should not ignore.

Closing note

UNILAG undergraduate and postgraduate students in oil and gas-related disciplines can begin their PTDF scholarship applications from 20 April 2026 and must submit them by 29 May 2026.

The application is online through the official portal, and the six-week window is already defined. Students who meet the conditions should act early.
