The EU Delegation to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and ECOWAS has opened applications for a funded traineeship for young graduates in Nigeria. The positioning is for up to six

The EU Delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS works with nationwide, local and regional authorities, in addition to other foreign missions. In Nigeria, the EU has an active presence in health, nutrition, water and sanitation, and access to sustainable electrical power. Traineeship summary
The placement is based in Nigeria and runs as an internship for up to 6 months. The successful candidate will work within the PPI Area of the EU Delegation.
The PPI Section supports the Head of Delegation in political relations with Nigeria and ECOWAS. It also analyses and reports on political advancements, engages with federal government and local authorities, civil society organisations, believe tanks and the media, and supports the Head of Delegation in his or her observer capability to ECOWAS.
The section likewise keeps an eye on regional developments and reports on associated matters. It supports EU coordination with Member States and manages coordination on political, regional, consular, migration and security matters.

The candidate needs to have less than one year of expert experience after graduation by the time the traineeship contract is signed.
