Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday commanded the investiture of Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo as the 6th Chancellor of Lagos State University.

The ceremony, held at Lagos Home in Ikeja, was gone to by essential officials of the institution, including the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Babatunde Ogala, Registrar Emmanuel Fanu, and Vice-Chancellor, Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello.

Oba Ogunsanwo, the Alara of Ilara Kingdom in Epe, was formally installed as the university’s sixth chancellor in the existence of dignitaries, traditional rulers, and members of the scholastic neighborhood.

Speaking at the occasion, Guv Sanwo-Olu described the consultation as a considerable milestone for the institution, revealing confidence in the brand-new chancellor’s capability to contribute to the ongoing growth and development of LASU.
