Despite the challenges around them, both siblings stood out academically, graduating high school with differences and securing admission into Stellenbosch University. However the journey was far from simple.
At simply 6 years old, they lost their father to liver failure, and this loss deeply impacted their upbringing.Years later on, throughout their 3rd year at university, their mother was diagnosed with cancer, another emotional and mental obstacle they needed to navigate while continuing their studies.Through all of it, they leaned on each other.
