According to Lincolnshire Authorities, the teenager was saved from Swanholme Lakes on July 9, 2026, after emergency situation services responded to a distress call at about 5:48 p.m. over concerns for an individual’s safety at the popular leisure site.

“His more youthful siblings adored him and he looked after them with inflammation, constantly making them smile and supporting them in every way,” they stated.
The grieving parents likewise explained Tomiwa as a gifted footballer who played for Greenbank FC and Lincoln City FC, keeping in mind that he was understood for his friendly nature and capability to connect with individuals.
They added that he was an active member of his church’s youth ministry and left behind a tradition of faith, empathy, discipline and joy.
“Tomiwa leaves behind a tradition of love, faith, discipline, joy and empathy. Though his life was short, it was exceptionally impactful,” the household said.
“He leaves a lasting example for his brothers, convenience for his moms and dads and cherished memories for everyone who knew him. Tomiwa will forever stay in our hearts.”
